Що показує live FMCSA registry
Станом на 5 листопада FMCSA Training Provider Registry показує Notice of Proposed Removal для ELDT Nation.
ELDT Nation
Overdrive повідомляє, що ELDT Nation advertises low-cost online Class A theory і що owner назвав three-to-four hours average completion, із окремими completions приблизно за дві години.
“FMCSA approved” —
Official TPR provider page прямо пояснює: FMCSA does not approve or certify providers; agency approves applications for listing in the Registry, Registry listing підтверджує current eligibility to submit ELDT records, але не є quality endorsement, accreditation або гарантією, що course відповідає потребам конкретного student.
Якщо FMCSA later removes provider через failure to respond або correct deficiencies, regulation робить invalid training, проведене після effective removal date.
TPR status не змінює U4U parole, TPS, visa, EAD, work authorization або eligibility для domiciled чи non-domiciled CDL. Theory ELDT також не замінює CLP knowledge tests, behind-the-wheel range/public-road training, medical qualification, English-proficiency obligations або state skills test.
What the live FMCSA registry shows
As of November 5, FMCSA’s Training Provider Registry displays a Notice of Proposed Removal for ELDT Nation. The registry notice cites 49 CFR 380.723 and expressly requires the provider to notify current driver-trainees and people scheduled for future training. This is a current administrative status in the federal registry, not a rumor, criminal charge or final finding about every course or student.
Proposed removal is not final removal
Under 49 CFR 380.723, the provider has 30 days from the notice to explain in writing why FMCSA relied on erroneous information or to state that it will complete corrective actions. The correction period is generally up to 60 days. FMCSA may withdraw the notice, affirm it or later remove the provider. The TPR FAQ explains that a provider with a proposed-removal notice generally may continue training during the corrective-action period. “Proposed removal” therefore should not be described as “school closed” or “already removed.”
FMCSA has not published the reason involving ELDT Nation
The public TPR notation does not disclose the underlying reasons or required corrective actions, and FMCSA has not posted a case-specific notice for public review. Overdrive reported that the owner said he was cooperating with the agency and expected a return to good standing; the report also states that FMCSA did not explain the reason for the notice to the outlet. Without an agency document, it would be inaccurate to claim that the provider committed fraud, that a two-hour completion caused the notice or that every student record is defective.
Is a two-hour online theory course permitted?
Overdrive reports that ELDT Nation advertises low-cost online Class A theory and that the owner described a three-to-four-hour average completion time, with some completions in roughly two hours. Federal ELDT rules do not establish one minimum number of theory hours; the provider must cover the applicable curriculum topics, use content prepared or delivered by qualified instructors and require at least 80% on the theory assessment. A short completion time does not by itself prove a violation, but an applicant should evaluate whether the course genuinely prepares the student for knowledge, safety communication and the later behind-the-wheel and state-testing steps.
“FMCSA approved” is not an accurate description
The official TPR provider page expressly states that FMCSA does not approve or certify providers; the agency approves applications for listing in the Registry, and a provider should not represent itself as “FMCSA approved” or “certified.” A registry listing confirms current eligibility to submit ELDT records, but it is not a quality endorsement, accreditation or guarantee that a course meets a particular student’s needs. Before paying, verify the exact legal name, location, training type and live notation.
What a current or scheduled trainee should do
Take a dated screenshot of the live TPR result and ask the provider to confirm in writing its current status, training date, curriculum, instructor qualification, refund policy and who will submit the certification. Separately request a copy or summary of the trainee notification required by 49 CFR 380.723 after a proposed-removal notice. Do not send payment or personal documents based only on the word “approved.” If you continue, keep the contract, receipt, completion certificate, assessment result, emails and a screenshot of your own TPR driver record after submission.
What the status means for completed training and a CDL
A proposed removal does not by itself cancel a submitted training record, CLP, CDL or endorsement. If FMCSA later removes a provider for failing to respond or correct deficiencies, the regulation makes training conducted after the effective removal date invalid. Retroactive invalidation is separately possible in an emergency fraud or criminal-behavior case when a trainee knowingly participated; the public record here establishes no such finding. If you already completed the course, check your own TPR record and obtain written guidance from the issuing DMV before paying for duplicate training.
Practical implications for Ukrainian and immigrant applicants
TPR status does not change Uniting for Ukraine parole, Temporary Protected Status, a visa, an Employment Authorization Document, work authorization or eligibility for a domiciled or non-domiciled CDL. Theory ELDT also does not replace CLP knowledge tests, behind-the-wheel range and public-road training, medical qualification, English-proficiency obligations or the state skills test. A Ukrainian applicant should request English-language enrollment terms and keep a translation for understanding, while personally completing assessments and never allowing another person to complete the course or submit false information.
