Які ELD залишаються відкликаними
FMCSA July 9 removal notice і live Revoked ELD List охоплюють: Ontime Logs iosix (OTL101; identifier 24b11f), LAST MINUTE ELD (360-LM; LMN932), Porter ELD (Porter 1; POR247), Zee HOS Compliance (TTELD101; F594EF), EV ELD IOSIX (EV 2; G711H3), Light and Travel ELD (LNTRA; LNT780), PREMIERRIDE LOGS (1RIDE; PRD391), 2BRO ELD (2BRO002; 2BRELD), 305 ELD (305002; 2BR305) та TT ELD 40 (PT40; TTAH49). Перед dispatch звіряйте name, model та identifier, а не лише icon або vendor name.
Перехідний період завершився 8 вересня
60-day replacement window більше не захищає carrier, який продовжує використовувати ці devices. Починаючи з 8 вересня 2026 року, FMCSA вважає таку операцію роботою без required ELD. Safety officials мають оформлювати violation 49 CFR 395.8(a)(1), “No record of duty status”, і поміщати driver out of service відповідно до CVSA Out-of-Service Criteria. Окремого продовження deadline FMCSA не опублікувала.
Paper logs не є постійною заміною
FMCSA дозволяла paper logs або logging software як тимчасовий міст під час replacement window. Після deadline це не дає права далі dispatch truck із revoked ELD. Legitimate malfunction зареєстрованого ELD регулюється окремою procedure: driver повідомляє carrier, відновлює необхідні records і використовує backup лише на строк repair або replacement. Не позначайте revoked device як “malfunctioning”, щоб обійти registry status.
Що зробити перед наступним рейсом
Якщо device входить до списку, не dispatch vehicle, доки compliant replacement не встановлено, driver profile не активовано і водій не може display та transfer records. Збережіть required historical RODS і supporting documents, перевірте правильні truck, trailer та carrier identifiers, виконайте test transfer і дайте водієві graph-grid paper logs для справжнього malfunction backup. Vendor promise не замінює status у live FMCSA Registered ELD List.
Практичні наслідки для українських водіїв
Вимога однакова незалежно від citizenship або immigration status. Українському company driver слід відкрити Device Information, звірити exact model та identifier з FMCSA lists і письмово повідомити safety manager, якщо device відкликано. Owner-operator відповідає за compliant setup до dispatch. Цей ELD deadline не змінює CDL validity, medical certification, U4U parole, TPS, EAD, work authorization або eligibility for a domiciled чи non-domiciled CDL.

The transition period ended September 8
The 60-day replacement window no longer protects a carrier that continues using these devices. Beginning September 8, 2026, FMCSA treats that operation as operating without the required ELD. Safety officials are directed to cite 49 CFR 395.8(a)(1), “No record of duty status,” and place the driver out of service under the CVSA Out-of-Service Criteria. FMCSA has not published a separate extension of the deadline.
Paper logs are not a permanent substitute
FMCSA allowed paper logs or logging software as a temporary bridge during the replacement window. After the deadline, that does not authorize dispatch with a revoked ELD. A legitimate malfunction of a registered ELD follows a separate procedure: the driver notifies the carrier, reconstructs required records and uses backup records only during repair or replacement. Do not label a revoked device as “malfunctioning” to bypass its registry status.
What to do before the next trip
If the device is listed, do not dispatch the vehicle until a compliant replacement is installed, the driver profile is active and the driver can display and transfer records. Preserve required historical RODS and supporting documents, verify the correct truck, trailer and carrier identifiers, perform a test transfer, and provide graph-grid paper logs for a genuine malfunction backup. A vendor promise does not replace the status shown on the live FMCSA Registered ELD List.
Practical implications for Ukrainian drivers
The requirement is the same regardless of citizenship or immigration status. A Ukrainian company driver should open Device Information, compare the exact model and identifier with the FMCSA lists, and notify the safety manager in writing if the device is revoked. An owner-operator is responsible for a compliant setup before dispatch. This ELD deadline does not change CDL validity, medical certification, Uniting for Ukraine parole, TPS, an EAD, work authorization, or eligibility for a domiciled or non-domiciled CDL.
